NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi’s Inspiring Call for Justice and Unity in Buikwe

Buikwe, Uganda – Amid ongoing struggles and sacrifices, National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi, affectionately known as Bobi Wine, addressed a gathering in Buikwe with an impassioned message of unity, justice, and resilience.

Speaking before a large congregation, Kyagulanyi honored those who have selflessly devoted themselves to the cause of a free and fair Uganda. “Their sacrifices continue to inspire us and solidify our commitment,” he stated, underscoring that the journey toward freedom for Uganda is one built on courage and unwavering dedication.

The NUP leader expressed disappointment over certain leaders who, in pursuit of wealth and power, have abandoned the values of justice and aligned themselves with oppressive forces. “We have seen leaders prioritize personal gain over the welfare of our people, even standing with those who plunder our economy and silence the voices of truth. It’s a deep betrayal of everything we fight for,” Kyagulanyi remarked. He highlighted how this disregard for the people’s well-being is an obstacle to progress but also serves as a call to resilience for the movement.

Reaffirming the NUP’s commitment, Kyagulanyi emphasized that the movement is grounded in the aspirations of millions of Ugandans seeking freedom and equality. “Our struggle is not about any single individual—it’s about a people determined to claim their rights. We will continue, no matter the betrayals,” he said passionately. He urged the audience to remember those who have lost their lives in the fight, insisting that their sacrifices strengthen the resolve to pursue the dream of a New Uganda.

Kyagulanyi closed his address with a rallying call to all Ugandans who share this vision of a brighter future. “The journey is far from over, but united, we will achieve a Uganda that serves each of its citizens with dignity, justice, and freedom. This is our mission and our promise,” he declared.

The NUP leader’s speech in Buikwe is a powerful reminder that the vision of a New Uganda remains alive, and with every step forward, the fight for justice, equity, and a nation for all Ugandans continues.
