Toronto, 31  – A grave concern has been sounded by political activist Clinton Mirrors, a staunch advocate of the National Unity Platform in Uganda, regarding a disconcerting series of developments. He is alerting the Ugandan public and the international community to the alleged secret mobilization of children in schools throughout the country, purportedly orchestrated by Mr. Balaam Barugahare on behalf of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba under the MK project.

Mirrors has issued a stern warning that these activities should be scrutinized closely, as there are growing apprehensions that this covert mobilization may be a precursor to involving young children in the 2026 elections, potentially to support Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

“What we are witnessing,” Mirrors stated, “is the potential brainwashing and political manipulation of young children at a tender age. The sanctity of our education system is being compromised.”

Reports have emerged that Mr. Balaam has been actively engaging with children in various schools, advocating for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Clinton Mirrors, as a dedicated political activist, emphasizes the necessity of age-appropriate and transparent civic education. He asserts that ethical practices must be upheld in schools, safeguarding the education and innocence of Uganda’s young citizens.

Furthermore, Mirrors has called upon Ugandans and the National Unity Platform to investigate these allegations thoroughly. He also implores educational institutions, concerned authorities, and civil society organizations to ensure that the rights and well-being of children are preserved and protected.

He underscored the significance of safeguarding the educational system and maintaining a neutral space for learning, free from political influences that could hinder children’s development and growth. “As political activists, we must focus on the welfare and education of children, guarding them against undue political pressures,” Mirrors declared.

This revelation is driving fresh concerns, with a call to scrutinize all mobilization efforts associated with Mr. Balaam and Gen. Muhoozi, especially those involving children under the age of 18. Clinton Mirrors suggests that what may appear as overwhelming support for Gen. Muhoozi is, in reality, a façade, with children being unwittingly fronted and, some argue, paid as supporters.

He urges all people in Uganda to be watchful, and schools are urged to be vigilant, preventing any unauthorized attempts to involve children in political mobilization efforts. Mirrors emphasizes that Balaam’s actions are under global scrutiny and calls for an immediate halt to these activities.

As the public remains alert to these developments, the hope is that this message will not only raise awareness but also inspire collective action to protect the youngest members of Uganda’s society from potential exploitation.
